Ten years ago (wow!), I took a study abroad trip to Spain during college. I made some amazing friends on this trip and I fell in love with the Mediterranean (it is my favorite shade of blue next to KU blue). Spain is known for its cultured pearls that look so perfect. Majorca pearls are so beautiful and I have adored them ever since. I bought myself a pair that cost probably $25. At the time, it was a major investment. Most of you know that I have worn them ever since. They go with everything!
I have lost them a million times and I always find them. Tonight, I thought I lost one of them for good at Super Target (where else would I spend my Friday nights??). I got home and felt the back on the the back of my ear, as they are basically molded into my skin like a good pair of sandals. No pearl!! I actually didn't freak out. I just figured it was time to go back to Spain...
Well, believe it or not, I called the friendly staff at Super Target (I love this store!) and asked them to look in the aisle where I remember Wesley grabbing my face/hair to plant a wet kiss and there it was!!! Amazing...I can't lose them. Guess we'll have to postpone that trip to Spain. So, tell me about a sentimental piece of jewelry you own (not your wedding ring...that is a gimme).

i DID lose my "6th grade graduation" ring from my parents. i changed for gymnastics in the locker room and left it on a bench. SO SAD!!! glad ou found your earring!
i meant glad "you" found your earring - not "ou"
YEAH!!!! You have a blog now! One time when I was 16 I put my rings on my bracelet and laid them on the trunk of the car so my friend and I could play softball. Her mom drove all the way to town(over a bridge over the river) and back and the bracelet and rings were still there! So technically, I never lost them. :) We miss you guys!!! Can you send your new email?
